Rich and Jeanette are an international couple – from Hong Kong – whose 2016 UK wedding I am also photographing. I had a really enjoyable day shooting their pre-wedding in London a few weeks ago. We started in by the Boating lake in Regent’s Park with a mini-picnic – very romantically at the spot where Rich proposed. Then we packed up the picnic to take them rowing on the boating lake before wandering off to explore London. They’d loved photographs of mine that they’d seen so we bore that in mind as we navigated a route that ended at Tower Bridge.
Rich and Jeanette were a real pleasure to photograph. They had put a lot of thought into the shoot – for example, in choosing their outfits – but simultaneously they’re a really happy couple who know how to relax and enjoy life. You’ll see a lot of smiles in the photographs and I didn’t have to prompt them for any of those! Can’t wait to see them again next year!
